Spicy Kimchi Hibachi Fried Rice with Pork

Serves 2 Prep time: 5mins Cook time: 8mins

INGREDIENTS:
1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
9 ounces pork loin chops, cut into small cubes
1 1/2 cups packed kimchi
1 tsp soy sauce
1 packet Grain Trust Hibachi Fried Rice
2 Tbsp. Gochujang (Korean red chili paste) or Tunisian Harissa Paste
Pinch of sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sesame oil
2 eggs, sunny side up

Garnish: Green onions, sliced Toasted sesame seeds

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Over medium high heat, heat the oil in a large pan. Add the pork loin cubes and sear on all sides until they are browned and almost cooked through.

  2. Turn the heat to high. Add the kimchi and soy sauce and stir well to combine. Cook for about 2 minutes to let the kimchi juices caramelize and coat the pork.

  3. Add the frozen Grain Trust Hibachi Fried Rice, Gochujang, and sugar to the pan. Stir well to ensure the paste is evenly distributed and the rice is fully incorporated.

  4. Cook for another 3–4 minutes until the rice is heated through. Add salt to taste, mix in the sesame oil, and serve with a fried egg on top and the garnishes.
